Cassie + KJ + their furbaby Alex = One Happy Family

Ever since a trip to New Orleans together my freshman year of college Cassie and I have been close friends. She married her fabulous husband last winter and they recently got their precious puppy Alexander. This can only mean that Family Pictures were in high order for their first Christmas! 

Little Alex was too cute running around with his little bunny legs, jumping in and out of the weeds. It was an absolutely beautiful fall evening and had such a great time with Cassie & KJ!

Alex was the most photogenic little dog I've ever photographed. He was super interested in the camera!

{Morgan} |Senior- Track Session

Meet Morgan, if you are wondering where he gets his good looks from it is because he is a Choate. Now you may be asking yourself, who are the Choates? My husband is one of the four Choate brothers- known for their kind hearts, stunning blue eyes, athletic builds and thick caterpillar eyebrows. So enough of the bragging on my brother -in-law...

I got the privilege of doing his Senior pictures...naturally... so we are doing a couple of sessions. Since he is an amazing cross country and track star, we are doing a track session. Then we will do another session coming up where we will scour the countryside for cool walls, train cars etc.

{Linzie} | Senior

Senior pictures are not only for when you graduation high school...but for college grads too! Linzie pulled out her fancy red heels for a fantastic Sunday morning stroll around downtown. Part of my favorite thing about being a photographer is hearing people's stories. Linzie has so much ambition, I know she has a bright future ahead of her.

{Andy} | Senior

For most guys getting their photos taken would probably not make the top 100 list of things they enjoy. Andy was such a great sport though, spending an hour playing his guitar, climbing trees and doing pull-ups on a bridge. It's always more fun when people let their personalities and hobbies shine through during their shoot.

{Hobbs} |Family

What better way to spend a Sunday morning that watching the sun rise over the Boise river and taking some family photos. Kathleen and her beautiful daughters & chubby cheeked grandson were a joy to be around. They kept me laughing from the banter between siblings to one of them making farm noises to get the baby to smile.

{Chelsea +Matt} | Wedding

It didn't take very long to figure out that Chelsea and Matt are fun. really fun. I knew Chelsea back in the day in college, but this was before she met the man of her dreams! The chemistry between the two of them was undeniable, it always makes me so happy to see such a great match.

Their venue was beyond gorgeous- White Willow Estates out in Star, ID. A mansion of a house backdropped by the river, flowing willow trees and the sunset. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. From the lighting of the paper lantern during the ceremony, the emotion of the bride and groom seeing each other for the first time to the hours of dancing and laughter at the end of the night, this was a beautiful day. Congrats you two.
